Overview
An affiliate promotes a store link. When a customer purchases through that link, the plugin records a referral for the store administrator to review. Approved referrals create the commission that an affiliate can later use or withdraw, depending on your settings.
Prerequisites
- You can sign in to WordPress as an administrator.
- WooCommerce is installed and active.
- You have the Affiliate Plugin for WooCommerce ZIP file ready to upload.

Step-by-step Configuration
- Install and activate the plugin. This adds the affiliate features to your WooCommerce store.
- Configure your first commission rule. Start with a simple commission for all products.
- Create or select the affiliate page. Affiliates use this page to access their dashboard and tools.
- Generate and share a referral link. An affiliate shares the link with a customer.
- Review the referral. After the customer purchases, approve or reject the referral from the admin area.
Complete one test referral before enabling advanced options such as MLM, bonuses, or payment integrations. It is the quickest way to confirm that your pages, links, and commission settings work together.
Expected Result
At the end of Getting Started, your store will have an active plugin, an affiliate page, a basic commission rule, and a clear path to test a referral.
Notes
The first configuration is intentionally minimal. Configure advanced commission rules, payouts, emails, and MLM only after the basic referral flow is working.
Tips
Keep a test affiliate account separate from your store administrator account so you can follow the affiliate experience exactly as users will see it.
